Our client is a market leader in the manufacture of building materials.  They are seeking an Electrical Engineer / Manager to ensure the plant is developed and effectively maintained to maximise efficiency and reliability of the plant. The plant is currently going through a significant expansion project that will make it one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

The successful candidate will plan and implement maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns and will always be looking to identify, justify and implement improvements to the process. Other duties will include analysing and rectifying faults that go beyond the skills of other maintenance staff, liasing with suppliers to ensure the plant has the latest technology and to motivate and supervise staff and contractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Other responsibilities will include managing the electrical / control aspects of the current expansion project.
